I’m Abdulelah — an AI product builder from Riyadh. I like taking a messy, real-world problem and turning it into something people can pick up and use.

Who I am

A builder, first.

I studied Information Systems at the University of Bisha, but I learned the most by building — across education, security, sustainability, computer vision, legal guidance, fintech and immersive learning. Some of that work became working prototypes; some remains concepts, and I label it that way.

Those projects taught me that good products are shaped by domain understanding as much as technology. The model is never the point; the person on the other side of the screen is.

I led ChatUB as my graduation project, built prototypes at national hackathons, and reached the Top 30 of SDAIA × Microsoft’s AthkaU. I’m happiest with an unsolved problem in front of me.

  1. 2023

    CITC Innovation Hackathon finalist

    Reached the final of a national innovation hackathon focused on digital solutions in Saudi Arabia.

  2. 2024

    Qanouni, Virtual Astronauts and AthkaU

    Developed the Qanouni and Virtual Astronauts concepts in SDAIA × Microsoft’s AthkaU program and reached the Top 30 of 80+ teams.

  3. 2025

    ChatUB, Absher Insight AI and Medad

    Led the ChatUB graduation project to a working prototype, built the Absher Insight AI prototype at the Absher Tuwaiq Hackathon, and designed the Medad inclusive-banking concept.

    Althil, Stadium and graduation

    Built the Althil prototype with a team at the Intelligent Planet Hackathon (KFUPM × Google Cloud), built Stadium solo, and graduated from the University of Bisha.

How I work

The way a problem becomes a product.

  1. Understand the context

    I start with the environment, not the model. Who is affected, what they trust, what already exists — that’s where the real design lives.

  2. Find the real problem

    The stated problem is rarely the actual one. I keep asking until the friction is obvious and the goal is sharp.

  3. Build the smallest thing that works

    A rough system that runs beats a perfect plan that doesn’t. I get to something real, fast, and learn from it.

  4. Refine until it feels effortless

    Then I sweat the details — wording, timing, spacing — until the whole thing feels calm and obvious to use.
